This week he announced to news that his wrist injury will keep him out of the Masters. “They said I would be about 80 percent, but I can’t play 80 percent,” Koepka told news. “I either have to go full bore or not at all. Elsewhere, Claire Rogers, 23, a senior at Boston College, made news this week for sending a gift to Tiger Woods’ surgeon and getting a rare thank you back from the surgeon. “I’m a golf fanatic,” Rogers told ESPN.. “I’ve always loved the sport. I love all the other great players, but it’s been so much fun to watch Tiger come back, as I’m sure it has been for so many people. I’ve always loved Arnold Palmer’s tournament, and I got so excited about the comeback I decided to send the doctor a thank-you note.”
Rogers sent his gift to Richard Guyer of the Texas Back Institute. “I wanted to send him something that would be funny but he would also understand that it’s a thank you,” Rogers said.
